Salem VA Credit Union presents check to The Leukemia ...

A big check for a big purpose.? Lori Hartsock,?a major supporter of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society,?linked up with Salem VA Credit Union and Q99?s Charity Cheeleader program and raised money for the organization.? She decided to contribute the money to?The Leukemia and Lymphoma?Society for the benefit of blood cancer patients and their families.??Lori Hartsock and Karen Snyder, another supporter of the Society, presented the check for $10,281 together at the Salem VA Credit Union on Tuesday, April 2.? According to Emily Thurston, the Senior Campaign Manager at?The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, ?These two have?been the driving force in Roanoke for raising funds and awareness for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Lori?s involvement with Team In Training over the last several years has strengthened our presence in that area and we look forward to seeing the program grow under Lori?s leadership.?
